Caroline Scrimshaw ventured away from Leicestershire to represent the Harriers, this time well north of the border in Scotland.
She, and 289 fellow competitors, were bag-piped to the start line to take part in a beautiful, but very undulating, race on Saturday 13th June. Fortunately the rain stopped for just enough time for folks to complete the race and, therefore, enjoy the breathtaking scenery in glorious sunshine.
Although Carolines training plan during the week before involved climbing mountains rather than running, she finished in a gun time of 2:19:01
